Database Backups

On successful completion of this lesson, students will understand how to use the EVE Client or the EVE Database Utilities application to perform database backups.
Lesson
Database Backups can be made in one of two ways in EVE:
- Using the EVE Client. I.e. you can configure EVE to automatically take a database backup when EVE closes and you can manually take a backup whenever you want by clicking the EVE icon at the top right of EVE and then clicking Backup Now.
- Using the EVE Database Utilities application that is installed with the EVE Server feature (i.e. it resides on the same PC as your database). Using this application you can schedule backups to occur automatically at a fixed time every day.
