Using the EVE Pro App when not connected to the internet
The EVE Pro App can be used to view and enter information for courses and trips when the EVE Pro App user is not connected to the internet.
To enable this function, the EVE Pro App user must download information to the EVE Pro App before they go into an area of no internet connectivity. On the home page of the EVE Pro App click the ‘Calendar’ icon:
This will take the EVE Pro App user to the ‘Calendar’ main page which will feature only the events that are associated to the employee who is signed into the PADI EVE Pro App. The EVE Pro App user must click on a date which displays a current/upcoming course and this will reveal the ‘Download’ icon:
Clicking the ‘Download’ icon will download everything that is in the EVE Pro App user’s calendar bringing in all related information on assigned customers, trips and courses.
Once the EVE Pro App user is in the area of no internet connectivity they can then make changes to course attendances/scores (see ‘How to use the Courses feature of the EVE Pro App‘) which will be saved to the EVE Pro App users mobile device.
The changes will be synced to the dive stores EVE database the next time the EVE Pro App is opened in an area of internet connectivity.
Before the EVE Pro App user’s next visit to an area of no internet connectivity, they must have opened the EVE Pro App in an area of internet connectivity and then clear any previous offline data. This is done by clicking the ‘Clear offline data’ button on the home page of the EVE Pro App:
The EVE Pro App user can then go the through download procedure above as before.
